By installing or using EvalyMe ("the app") you agree to these Terms of Service. EvalyMe is provided by EvalyMe Inc. ("we", "us"). If you do not agree, please uninstall the app and do not use our services.
What EvalyMe is
EvalyMe is a valuation toolkit for indie founders. It generates an estimated market value range, an Investor Score, an Exit Readiness score, a business archetype, and AI-generated advisory text based on metrics you provide. It is a decision-support tool, not a guarantee, appraisal, or investment advice. Real-world acquisition prices may differ significantly.
Your account
- You must be at least 13 years old (16 in the EU) to create an account.
- You are responsible for the activity that happens under your account.
- Do not impersonate others or submit false information for fraudulent purposes.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the app.
- Use the app or AI Advisor to generate spam, harassment, or illegal content.
- Resell, white-label, or expose EvalyMe's services as your own without written permission.
- Attempt to overwhelm our backend (rate limits apply).
Subscriptions & billing
EvalyMe is free to use for core valuation features. Optional Pro subscriptions unlock unlimited AI Advisor sessions and tailored exit playbooks. Purchases are billed through the web checkout, Apple App Store, or Google Play, depending on where you subscribe. The checkout displays the price, billing interval, and applicable renewal terms before you confirm payment. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled under those terms. We do not issue refunds for unused time except where required by law.
For a web subscription, open Account and choose Manage subscription. For App Store or Google Play purchases, manage the subscription through that store. Deleting your EvalyMe account does not cancel your store subscription. For billing help, contact [email protected].
User content
You retain ownership of the business metrics, names, and notes you enter. You grant us a limited license to store, process, and display them solely to operate the app for you (sync, share links you create, AI advice you request). You can revoke this license by deleting your data or account.
Share links
When you create a public share link, the report becomes accessible to anyone with the URL. Treat share links as semi-public — do not share links containing sensitive metrics with untrusted parties. You can revoke a share link any time from your dashboard.
AI output disclaimer
The AI Advisor produces best-effort guidance from a large language model. Output can be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on it as a substitute for legal, tax, accounting, or M&A counsel. You are responsible for verifying any claim before acting on it.
Intellectual property
EvalyMe, the lime-on-obsidian wordmark, the scoring methodology, and all app code are the property of EvalyMe Inc. and protected by copyright and trademark law. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app per these Terms.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You can terminate at any time by deleting your account from inside the app. On termination, all data we hold for you is deleted (see Privacy Policy).
Disclaimers
The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EvalyMe Inc. is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost revenue, lost profits, or lost data, arising from your use of the app. Our total aggregate liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) USD 50.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Castle County, Delaware.
Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be announced in-app or by email. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
